Summary/Paraphrase

The Watson's Go to Birmingham-1963
The Watson's go to Birmingham is about a black family living in  Flint, Michigan Who go to see their grandma Sans in Birmingham, Alabama. It tells of all the adventures they go through and all the things they do. It also tells about the Civil Rights events that happened while they were in birmingham. It is a very influencial book and makes you really think about the civil rights movement because you are in a black family's point of view.

What I learned
What I learned while creating this project, and learning about civil rights is that civil rights is a part of our history and we need to learn from their mistakes.
