What are Civil Rights?

What are Civil Rights?Civil Rights means that people have the right to be treated the same as others despite their race, gender, or religion. Why do we want to know? We need to know because if we didn't know about civil rights we wouldn't try to keep those rights. We wouldn't even care about having rights. If we don't have that information then we will have that right taken away.
